Overall, the project <br />management plan will address the following activities: provisions <br />to have day-to-day communication; overall project direction; <br />schedule and budget adherence; contract administration; and <br />quality assurance. <br /> <br />The following is a framework for the .Project Management <br />Plan which will be developed within the first month of the <br />project. The objectives of the plan are to ensure high quality <br />products, on time delivery, compliance with the project <br />budget, open internal and external communications for <br />project understanding, and conformance with NCDA and <br />FTA guidelines and expectations. <br /> <br />The TKDA Team believes that a successful project is one that <br />is managed well. Well managed projects have an efficient, <br />usually visible administrative function that includes <br />monitoring the contract with the client to assure all <br />requirements are met; preparing, executing and monitoring <br />subcontracts, and assuring schedule and budget compliance. <br />Most importantly, a well managed project is one where the <br />project manager is available and interested in the project.
