Memo to Planning Commission <br />February 29, 2000 <br />Page 4 <br /> <br />Planning Commission Meeting <br /> <br />At the Planning Commission meeting held on February 29th, no one spoke at <br />the public hearing. The Planning Commission discussed signage and <br />landscaping. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />The Planning Commission and staff recommend the City Council approve the <br />preliminary and final plat request for Harley Addition with the following <br />conditions: <br /> <br />1. Park dedication fee shall be paid prior to releasing the plat for <br /> recording. <br /> <br />2. Surface water management fee shall be paid prior to releasing the plat <br /> for recording. <br /> <br />3. All comments of the City Engineer shall be addressed. <br /> <br />The Planning Commission and staff recommend the City Council approve the <br />conditional use permit for the Harley-Davidson dealership with the following <br />conditions: <br /> <br />1. All comments of the City Engineer be addressed. <br /> <br />A landscape plan be provided and approved by staff which meets the <br />planting requirements of the landscape ordinance. The landscaping <br />shall include street trees along Evans Street, shade trees on site and <br />on the parking islands, ornamental and evergreen trees. <br /> <br />3. Curbed landscaped islands be provided at the west and north ends of <br /> the center row of parking spaces. <br /> <br />4. All signs will require a sign permit and shall comply with the <br /> requirements of the Hillside Crossing PUD Agreement. <br /> <br />5.
