REVIEW NORTH MEADOWS 2ND PRELIMINARY PLAT <br /> The preliminary plat for North Meadows 2nd Addition has come before City staff <br /> prior to a Planning Commission meeting on February 22, 1994. It is a simple plat <br /> with ten lots of 2-1/2 acres or more Plans will be available for the Park and <br /> Recreation Commissioners to examine at the 2/9/94 meeting. <br /> I 6. REVIEW COUNTRY CROSSINGS PRELIMINARY PLAT <br /> A preliminary plat for Country Crossings, the first 40 acre section of the Lakoduk <br /> property, is also scheduled for review by the Planning commission on February <br /> 22, 1994. This is a densely populated residential area with 98 lots on 40 acres. <br /> The revised City Master Park Plan does not call for a neighborhood park in this <br /> area, but does call for a trail that would go from County Road 30 to Orono <br /> Parkway somewhere between Fresno Street and Gary Street. City staff has <br /> identified four options that might accomplish this: <br /> 1. To paint stripe Fresno Street to allow the pathway to follow on the <br /> edge of the Street-. <br /> 2. Provide easements through the two cul-de-sacs and paint stripe <br /> Gary Street to allow the pathway to follow along the edge of the street. <br /> 3. Have the developer dedicate a 20' wide right-of-way along the <br /> eastern plat boundary to allow a north/south trail between Country <br /> Crossing and Orono Lake 3rd Addition. <br /> • 4. Have the developer dedicate a 70' wide street right-of-way for <br /> Gary Street and Gary Circle and provide access between Lots 19 and 20, <br /> P.O.
