10 <br /> <br />Ladder carry <br /> <br />Remove the 14-foot 2 section extension <br />ladder fi'om the wall pegs and carry the <br />ladder 20 feet and set on the ground, return <br />to standing straight up, pick-up the ladder <br />and walk back to replace the ladder on the <br />wall pegs. The assessment has been <br />completed when the ladder has been <br />returned to the wall pegs. <br /> <br />Successful Completion of Assessment (Pass) <br /> <br />The results of a successful completion (passing) of the Task- <br />Oriented Physical Demands Assessment are as follows: <br /> <br />New Applicants <br /> <br />move on to the next step in the firefighter <br />hiring process. <br /> <br />Probationary Members <br /> <br />move on to active member status after <br />completion of probationary period and any <br />other departmental requirements. <br /> <br />Active Members <br /> <br />Testing is optional, annually at special drill. <br /> <br /> <br />
