Any issue may be voted on by written ballot upon request of a member. Major issues will be determined by a majority vote of members at that regular monthly meeting. The Secretary/Treasurer shall give notice of, and attend meetings of the Department and shall record the minutes of the meetings. The Secretary/Treasurer shall have custody of Department funds. All funds received shall be deposited and all bills paid as directed by the Department. The Secretary/Treasurer shall read the minutes and give the financial statement at regular meetings, and submit reports for the annual meetings as directed by the Department. All bills shall be paid by check and all checks over $500 shall be countersigned by the Chief. The Secretary/Treasurer shall be bonded by the Department for a minimum of 15% of Departments financial assets and be paid a salary determined by the Department at the Annual Meeting. A Review Board, and a Communications Board shall be established. Each board shall each consist of three members one of each who wi]] represent the Department's youngest third, middle third, and senior third in years of service.
