The positions meeting the review criteria with the <br />Personnel Committee's recommendations are listed below. The current employee in each of <br />these positions completed a job analysis questionnaire that was used to determine the <br />position's point value. <br /> <br />Fire Inspector/Administrative Assistant - Consistent with past practice no point <br />value was assigned to this position when it was established with the intent that the <br />position would be reviewed after the employee and supervisor had more clearly <br />defined the position. <br /> <br />Committee Recommendation -Establish Fire Inspector/Administrative <br />Assistant position at 74 points and pay grade 1E. This position functions as <br />the acting emergency operations coordinator in the fire chief's absence. <br /> <br />Liquor Clerk II - Liquor Store Manager Dave Potvin requested that Steve Tillman's <br />position be reviewed due to added duties and responsibilities above and beyond <br />those of a Liquor Clerk II, including purchasing wine and supervising staff. <br /> <br />Committee Recommendation - Establishment of Liquor Clerk III <br />position at 59 points and pay grade 7. A new position description will be <br />written to include wine purchasing, supervisory, and other financial duties <br />above and beyond those of Liquor Clerk II. The committee further <br />recommends that Steve Tillman be moved to Liquor Clerk III effective <br />January 1, 2002. <br /> <br /> <br />
