I just wanted to express my thanks for the extra bus at Riverdale this morning 5:45am. I'm a <br />regular rider of this bus and as you know there was no standing room available when the bus left <br />the park & ride. I appreciate you accommodating the extra people riding the coach so us regular <br />riders can continue our route, too. <br />' ;r; i ;: 'd ...... "'"'"'"""'"'"""'"' ..... ' ...... '"' ..... ' ......... <br /> <br />Hello. <br />I am a regular Northstar commuter. I take the 5:45 am bus from Coon Rapids. First offI want to <br />say THANK YOU for adding additional buses to help with all of the stranded MT riders. I have <br />to say that I love taking the bus and really appreciate your service. <br /> <br />Julia Tremaine <br /> <br />I am a regular patron of your Fl'NE bus service! Your buses are truly a blessing to the fast- <br />growing areas of Coon Rapids and Elk River. I cannot fathom having to drive my car from <br />Zimmerman to downtown Minneapolis five days a week! THANK YOU A BILLION for your <br />services! <br /> <br />Personally, I feel that $3.50 (fare from Elk River) is a very reasonable amount, too Iow actually, <br />as it would take at least two gallons of gasoline in most cars to get from Elk River to <br />Minneapolis and at the prices of gasoline these days, that's easily $3.00 each way - not to <br />mention the wear and tear on your vehicle, your nerves, etc. AND paying for parking! Riding <br />for free should not be an option to anyone. Personally, I feel that $5.00 each way would be more <br />like it. <br /> <br />Again, ALL OF YOUR DRIVERS ARE WONDERFUL AND I FOR ONE APPRECIATE <br />THEM VERY, VERY MUCH! <br /> <br />Callie Parker <br /> <br />I'm not sure of the name of the gentleman (Darrell??) who drives the direct from Elk River that <br />leaves at 6:25 a.m., but he did one fine job this morning getting us downtown. (I sat in the front <br />seat and can't believe how inconsiderate drivers are of the busses -- there is no way I could drive <br />a bus). I hope other riders let you know how much the Northstar drivers are appreciated and <br />what a privilege it is to have such excellent bus service in our area. <br /> <br />Now that I've moved from Andover (where I use to catch the bus at the Coon Rapids Park 'n <br />Ride) to Elk River I would love to see more direct routes to Elk River!! (I know I'm being <br />selfish but that's a long way for people who sometimes have to stand). <br /> <br />Please tell the drivers to keep up the good work and reward them with a nice bonus!! <br /> <br />Lynn Bartel <br /> <br /> <br />
