City Council Minutes Page 12 <br />October 6, 2014 <br />10.3 Discussion on Public Maintenance Department Position <br />Ms. Fischer and Mr. Thompson presented the staff report. <br />Mayor Dietz questioned the mechanics duties during snowplowing season. <br />Mr. Thompson stated mechanics would be called on weekends and during the week <br />they would be done with snowplow operations by 10:00 a.m. <br />Mr. Simon stated the budget impact for 2015 would be $6,200. <br />Council consensus was to proceed with hiring a Maintenance Operator II. <br />II.
