On <br />January 20th, the City received six proposals in response to our request. The responding firms <br />included Barr Engineering, Bonestroo and Associates, Ecological Strategies, Emmons & Olivier, <br />The Kestrel Design Group, and Peterson Environmental Consulting. The proposals ranged in price <br />from $33,500 to $114,000. <br /> <br />The Greenway subcommittee, comprised of Park and Recreation Commissioners Nystrom, Paige, <br />and Polston-Hork, in addition to staff, reviewed the six proposals and ranked them on a scale from <br />1 - 10 on the following components: <br /> <br /> Project Understanding <br /> Relevant Experience <br />[] Project Approach <br />[] Cost of Service <br />[] Clarity of Proposal <br /> <br />The points were averaged and the subcommittee interviewed the top four firms on Tuesday, <br />February 3fa. The four firms interviewed were Barr Engineering, Bonestroo and Associates, <br />Emmons & Olivier, and Peterson Environmental Consulting. <br /> <br />After interviewing the consultants and discussing the proposals thoroughly, and comparing the <br />length of project time, cost of the proposal, the darity of the proposal and the number of public and <br /> <br /> <br />
