MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />MOTION BY COUNCILMEMBER TVEITE AND SECONDED BY <br />COUNCILMEMBER KUESTER TO APPROVE THE CONDITIONAL USE <br />PERMITS FOR NRG ENERGY, INC., CASE NO. CU 03-37, AND GREAT RIVER <br />ENERGY, CASE NO. CU 03-38, SUBJECT TO THE TERMS AND <br />CONDITIONS AS RECOMMENDED BY STAFF IN THE REPORT DATED <br />FEBRUARY 9, 2004. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />7.1 Authorization to Fill the Building Maintenance Position <br /> <br />Finance Director Lori Johnson distributed the job descriptions for the Building Maintenance <br />Assistant and Building Maintenance Supervisor positions explaining that the Personnel <br />Committee had reviewed these descriptions and recommended moving forward. She was <br />asking tonight for Council's authorization to advertise to fill the Building Maintenance <br />Assistant position. This position would be in Pay Grade 8 range of $13.60 - 19.33 per hour. <br /> <br />MOVED BY COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ AND SECONDED BY <br />COUNCILMEMBER TVEITE TO AUTHORIZE STAFF TO ADVERTISE TO <br />FILL THE BUILDING MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT POSITION. MOTION <br />CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />7.2 February, 17, 2004 Meeting <br /> <br />Councilmember Kuester distributed information to the Council regarding visions/goal <br />setting and strategy planning that she had received from the League of MN Cities. She <br />asked the Council to review this information for further discussion at the Tuesday, February <br />17, Special Council Meeting. <br /> <br />8.
