I hope this will be the last meeting I will have to miss. I know better and anyone that attendance is very important. My opinions on the Planning Items. 5.1. I would vote yes to the CUP renewal of the RDF plant. CU 03-37 5.2. I would vote yes to the CUP renewal request by GRE for the SWF. CU 03-38 I believe we need to be open to the public opinion on the litter and odor complaints the public may have at the public hearing. 5.3. I would vote NO to the land use amendment. LU 03-05 5.4. I would vote NO to the zone change. ZC 03-07 I feel the basis for denial are: 1. It's not consistent with todays Land Use Map. 2. It's not consistent with the existing Zoning Map. 3. Traffic concerns on the neighborhood and the 169 future exchanges. 4. Public sa£ety. As a plannin~ commission I believe we should not make chan~e to th(Land Use Map or Zone changes until the Council has approved or denied the Draft Comp. Plan update. If start down this road, we will doing uae Council job, which they may not approve of. I believe there may be lots of public out cry from the neighbors. I feel to make a hasty change to create commercial property in the wrong place is unwise. Design of poor t'nfrastructure could impact other commercial property alont the west side of 169 and the surrounding neighborhoods, without knowing the regional corridor exc~aange lay-out. 5.5. & 5.6. If i'm in the majority there would be no vote on these two. If I'm in the minority, I would vote NO on both. Mark, in the minutes of the last meeting I was absent not present.
