Discussion was held regarding the request for Preliminary and Final Residential Simple Plat <br /> approval of J and J Landing. <br /> Leonard/Wergin unanimous to approve the request for Preliminary and Final Residential Simple <br /> Plat of"J and J Landing" consisting of 2 Lots: (1 existing building site) Address: 12076 42nd <br /> St., Clear Lake, Mn Legal: Th S660' of th E332.08' of th W662.08' of th S W 1/4 of th NE 1/4 <br /> of Sec 23, Twp 35, Rge 29 subject to ROW of a Twp Rd over th S side thereof and subject to an <br /> ingress and egress easement over the W66' of th above desc property and Th S660' of th <br /> SW1/4 of th NE1/4 of Sec 23, Twp 35, Rge 29 lying E of th W662.08' thereof. Chris Pensinger, Livonia Township Supervisor, was present to discuss the Livonia Township <br /> Resolution authorizing Sherburne County to Collect a Park Dedication Fee for the Township of <br /> Livonia. <br /> Leonard/Engstrom to approve the Resolution Authorizing Sherburne County to Collect a Park <br /> Dedication Fee for the Township of Livonia. <br /> Walter Kaminsky, County Attorney, informed the Board that the Township, according to <br /> Minnesota Statute Section 462.358, would need to adopt an ordinance in order to impose Park <br /> Dedication Fees. Mr. Kaminsky also stated that the Township is responsible for the fees and <br /> their proper use and cannot direct the county to collect fees on their behalf. The County can <br /> continue to provide planning and zoning authority for the Township. <br /> The motion and second were withdrawn in light of the information provided by the County <br /> Attorney. <br /> 19. Discussion was held regarding formation of a Resource Conservation and Development Council. <br /> It was the consensus of the Board to invite Mr. Nelson, Project Coordinator of the Onanegozie <br /> Resource Council, to a future Board meeting to provide further information and answer any <br /> questions. <br /> 20. The Board of Commissioners presented a longevity award to a County Employee for years of <br /> service to Sherburne County. The County Board expressed their gratitude to the employee for <br /> his hard work and dedication to the County.
