• Low Impact Drainage Techniques—The applicant is proposing to utilize a low impact drainage
plan. This method for handling strormwater involves utilizing rain gardens and bio retention
ponds, and was one of the goals identified in the City's NPDES permit. The process allows for
the stormwater to be filtered through engineered soils, reduces the amount of off-site runoff and
allows for reduced on-site ponding and curbing requirements. Sec. 30-901 allows for exemptions
from the curbing requirements. Because the applicant is proposing to utilize Low Impact Design
techniques to manage stormwater, curb and gutter will only be installed in areas to control runoff
and customer traffic.
The Planning commission voted 7:0 to recommend approval the conditional use permit with 10
conditions.
Financial Impact
N/A
Attachments
Planning Commission Staff Report
Resolution No. 06-
Ordinance No. 06-
Minutes from April 11,2006 Planning Commission meeting
Action Requested
Adoption of Resolution No. 06- changing the land use designation of Outlot A,Leon Lefebvre
Addition from LI to HB
Approval of Ordinance No. 06- changing the zoning of Oudot A,Leon Lefebvre Addition from
PUD to C3
Approval of the Preliminary Plat for Jabez with the following conditions:
1.
