RESOLUTION 98- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ELK RIVER POLICE <br />DEPARTMENT TO ENTER INTO A GRANT AGREEMENT WITH THE <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Elk River Police Department is authorized to enter <br />into a cooperative agreement with the State of Minnesota, <br />Department of Public Safety; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the cooperative agreement is entitled the State of Minnesota, <br />Department of Public Safety FY 99 Cops Overtime Grant <br />Agreement. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Chief Thomas Zerwas is <br /> hereby authorized to execute such agreement and <br /> amendments as are necessary and to implement the project on <br /> behalf of the Elk River Police Department and to be the fiscal <br /> agent and administrator of the grant. <br /> <br />Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Elk River, this 9th day <br />of November, 1998. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Henry A.
