<br />September 3, 1998

<br />The Northstar Corridor Development Authority met on September 3, 1998, at the Sherbume County
<br />Government Center in the City of Elk River, Minnesota.
<br />
<br />The following members, alternates and citizens were present:

<br />Chairperson Wergin called the meeting to order at 4:30 p.m.
<br />
<br />A motion was made by Paul McCarron, seconded by LeRoy Pauley and carried
<br />unanimously to approve the agenda of September 3, 1998, with no additions and the meeting
<br />minutes of July 9, 1998, regular meeting minutes as amended.
<br />
<br />Stephanie Eilers, Anoka County, provided information to the Committee on the Minnesota
<br />Planning Grant.
<br />
<br />A motion was made by McCarron, seconded by Gerry Donlin, carried unanimously to approve
<br />the recommendation of the Northstar Executive Committee to support the application of the
<br />Minnesota Planning Grant.
<br />
<br />A motion was made by Gerry Donlin, seconded by Duane Grandy and carried unanimously to
<br />approve the recommendation of the Northstar Executive Committee to pursue a lump sum
<br />agreement with the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) for funding of the study to
<br />examine the feasibility of commuter rail in the St. Cloud area.
