• not prepared to make a decision considering all the comments made at the public hearing <br /> • mentioned that the HRA could review; staff indicated they did not intend for the HRA to review <br /> • questioned what the outcome of the workshop would be; staff indicated that commissioners could <br /> give staff direction on proposed sign amendments to be considered at the November planning <br /> commission meeting <br /> • staff indicated it would be easier to hash-out in a workshop style setting; therefore the public hearing <br /> scheduled for the City Council on 10-21-13 would be continued to a City Council meeting in <br /> November <br /> • suggested that 50% of the sign be donated to community events on the proposed Granite Shores <br /> sign, and perhaps other businesses not located in Granite Shores could advertise as well <br /> • doesn't feel the sign would disrupt the character of downtown, likes the idea of a Gateway sign, likes <br /> the idea to increase the percentage of wall mounted signs (Commissioner E.
