• Public information communicated to residents and interested parties via HKGi-prepared <br /> information for the website, Cable Channel 12, social media, newsletter articles and through the <br /> various parks and recreation printed media. <br /> • A parks and recreation system evaluation that will include parks, trails natural and cultural <br /> resources, connectivity,programs and facilities. This includes a review of recreation program use <br /> and delivery performance. <br /> • An updated Capital Improvement Plan with estimated capital costs including asset management <br /> and funding strategies. <br /> • A park dedication strategy and recommended park dedication rates. <br /> • An action plan framework to include park acquisition,park and facility improvements,park <br /> development, connectivity enhancements and maintenance strategies. This will include cost <br /> estimates for priority areas. <br /> • An optional public art plan to identify and prioritize potential sites and opportunities for public <br /> art projects within the city and define locally-based art themes and funding opportunities. <br /> Financial Impact <br /> A not to exceed amount is proposed at$82,700 for the Parks and Recreation Master Plan to be paid for <br /> from the 2014 Park Improvement Fund.
