I have surveyed the usual seven organizations for their 2003 salary and benefit increases. I have also expanded the survey for selected administration positions. Enclosed is the following information for your review: I. 2003 Lineperson salary survey. (This has been given to all ERMU employees) 2. 2003 salary survey for most ERMU positions. (This has been reviewed with only the ERMU supervisors) 3_ Additional salary survey for clerical positions. 4. Salary and benefit request from our operational employees. Please keep in mind when reviewing salary surveys, particularly the general survey,that job duties vary between companies even when positions have similar titles. When comparing salaries between companies, do not compare to the nearest penny, but look at ranges. In the process of completing the above salary surveys and talking with other employers,the following conclusions can be drawn: The insurance portion of this survey has not changed substantially from last year. The employee/ employer contribution level of 25%/75%has remained about the same. 1. The average salary increase for the lineperson position is 3.77%.
