Moffatt, PWS <br /> Environmental Planning Et Natural Resources <br /> Group Manager, Principal <br /> Local Government Unit (LGU) Experience <br /> Andrea provides oversight and management of the Minnesota Wetland <br /> Conservation Act (WCA). She has assisted the cities of Prior Lake, Lakeville, <br /> Minnetrista, Hugo, Grant, Sunfish Lake, Shakopee, Monticello, Rosemount, <br /> and Richfield with the LGU role and provided technical expertise in wetland <br /> determinations, LGU paperwork, and permitting in conformance with state <br /> rules. She also provides training to city staff in their role as LGU. <br /> Comprehensive Wetland Management Planning <br /> Andrea worked closely with city staff, agencies, and residents to prepare <br /> user-friendly Wetland Management Plans in conformance with the <br /> Wetland Conservation Act. She has evaluated the functions and values of <br /> over 2,500 wetlands in the metro area using the Minnesota Routine <br /> Assessment Method, placed wetlands into management categories, and <br /> prepared the plan based on the cities' and review agencies' needs and <br /> requirements. She has developed Wetland Management Plans for the <br /> following communities: <br /> • Coon Rapids • Rosemount <br /> • Lakeville . St. Louis Park <br /> • Medina • St. Paul <br /> • Bloomington • Savage <br /> • Richfield . Champlin <br /> • Sauk Rapids <br /> Environmental Review and Design for Wind Energy Projects <br /> Andrea leads our wind-energy service team and coordinates the civil <br /> design, survey, environmental reviews, and project management. She <br /> has completed site permit applications, environmental site <br /> assessments, Phase I Assessments, wetland studies, and avian and bat <br /> assessments for wind energy projects. She works effectively with <br /> clients and provides analysis in a timely manner to keep the project <br /> on schedule.
