Call Meeting To Order <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River Planning Commission <br /> was called to order at 7:25 p.m. by Vice Chair Westberg. <br /> 2. Consider 7/9/13 Planning Commission Agenda <br /> MOVED BY COMMISSIONER ERIC JOHNSON AND SECONDED BY <br /> COMMISSIONER KONIETZKO TO APPROVE THE JULY 9,2013 PLANNING <br /> COMMISSION AGENDA WITH THE FOLLOWING CHANGE: <br /> • - ITEM 3—JUNE 11,2013 MINUTES, REMOVED FROM AGENDA <br /> MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 4.1 Request by Aggregate Industries for Conditional Use Permit to amend existing permit hours <br /> of o.eration Case No. CU 13-09—Public Hearin <br /> The staff report was presented by Rebecca Haug. She stated that staff has received no <br /> complaints about noise. She noted that the same traffic patterns will be used as stated in the <br /> original agreement. An open house was held by Aggregate Industries on June 26 with 10 <br /> residents in attendance. No issues were identified at the open house. <br /> Commissioner Jeremy Johnson asked what is the process would be to revert back to the <br /> original hours of operation,if there were complaints. Ms. Haug explained that if there were <br /> complaints,staff would first work with the applicants to try to resolve the issue. If that <br /> failed,the City Council would act on changing the hours back to the prior limits. <br /> Vice Chair Westberg opened the public hearing. There being no public comment,Vice <br /> Chair Westberg closed the public hearing. <br /> MOTION BY COMMISSIONER KONIETZKO AND SECONDED BY <br /> COMMISSIONER JEREMY JOHNSON TO RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF <br /> THE REQUEST BY AGGREGATE INDUSTRIES FOR AN AMENDMENT TO <br /> THEIR EXISTING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT WITH THE FOLLOWING <br /> CONDITIONS: <br />
