Planning Commission Minutes Page 2 <br /> June 11,2013 <br /> Commissioner Eric Johnson stated that he liked the idea of the councilmember liaison • <br /> having input and providing direction,but he did not feel they should vote. Commissioner <br /> Keefe concurred. <br /> Chair Anderson stated that he liked the idea of being able to use the council liaison as a <br /> resource to provide an opinion or history on a particular issue,and he felt they would <br /> provide a conduit between the Planning Commission and City Council. <br /> Mr. Portlier stated he would take the Commission's comments back to the City Council for <br /> their consideration. <br /> 4.1 Request by Tim Pomerleau for a Conditional Use Permit PUD (Kliever Lake Fields 4th, Case <br /> No. CU 13-06 <br /> 4.2 Request by Tim Pomerleau for a Zone Change from R3 to PUD,Case No. ZC 13-03— <br /> Public Hearing <br /> 4.3 Request by for Preliminary Plat approval(Kliever Lake Fields 4th),Case No.P 13-01 <br /> The staff report was presented by Jeremy Barnhart. Staff recommended approval of the <br /> three requests with the 11 conditions listed in the staff report. <br /> Commissioner Keller asked what the exterior requirements were. Mr.Barnhart stated that <br /> the requirements include 25% stone,with a maximum of 60%vinyl. He stated that the plan <br /> meets the requirements. <br /> Chair Anderson opened the public hearing. <br /> John Tilton, 18026 Fillmore Street,asked what the separation was between the homes. Mr. • <br /> Barnhart stated there is a minimum of 10 feet separation required. Mr.Tilton stated he was <br /> concerned they would lose guest parking. He also had concerns that the PUD zoning would <br /> allow more density in the future. Mr.Barnhart stated that a project would still need to go <br /> through the Conditional Use Permit process. <br /> There being no further public comment, Chair Anderson closed the public hearing. <br /> Commissioner Mike Keller asked were the additional recommended landscaping would be <br /> located. Mr.Barnhart stated it would be on the north portion of the site. <br /> MOTION BY COMMISSIONER KONIETZKO AND SECONDED BY <br /> COMMISSIONER ERIC JOHNSON TO RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE <br /> REQUEST BY TIM POMERLEAU FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT, <br /> CASE NO. CU 13-06. MOTION CARRIED 6-0. <br /> MOTION BY COMMISSIONER KELLER AND SECONDED BY <br /> COMMISSIONER KONIETZKO TO RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE <br /> REQUEST BY TIM POMERLEAU FOR A ZONE CHANGE FROM R3 TO PUD <br /> (KLIEVER LAKE FIELDS 4TH), CASE NO.ZC 13-03.
