• Total Consultant Cost Bolton&Menk,Inc.understands the importance of delivering a project on time and within budget. Staff productivity will be closely managed in order to deliver services that are both timely and cost effective.We propose to provide the engineering services as requested and as described in detail in this proposal on an hourly not-to-exceed basis fee as noted below. � . The Liquid Stream Options are combined into one table since the effort level is the same for either Liquid Stream option.The costs for the Great River Energy and Heat Drying biosolids options assume that a biosolids option will be designed and constructed at the same time as the Liquid Stream option. The above fees do not include geotechnical consultant costs. Bolton&Menk will coordinate directly with a geotechnical consultant and the City will pay any geotechnical costs directly. In addition,the above fees do not include regulatory or permit fees.Bolton&Menk will pay all regulatory and permit fees and these costs will be reimbursed by the City. It is anticipated that the following items are required and the associated fees will be reimbursed by the City: • Non-Degradation Review (MPCA) • Environmental Assessment Worksheet(MPCA) • NPDES Permit Modification(MPCA) Rates include labor,general business and other normal and customary expenses associated with operating a professional business.These rates also include vehicle and personal expenses,mileage, telephone, survey stakes and routine expendable supplies; and no separate charges will be made for these activities and materials. Expenses beyond the agreed scope of services and non-routine expenses, such as large quantities of prints,exponential increases in report copies,out-sourced graphics and photographic reproductions,document recording fees,outside professional and technical assistance and other items of this general nature,will be invoiced separately. Rates and charges do not include sales tax,if applicable. Rates shall apply for the duration of the project.
