Amanda Prosser, RLA <br /> Landscape Architect <br /> Amanda has won numerous national and local awards for her projects k . <br /> while at North Dakota State University and has specialized in park and <br /> recreation-related projects for more than eight years. She has been <br /> project manager for a number of regional, community, and neighborhood <br /> park and trail master plans, including facilitating the public meetings and <br /> presentations that go along with these types of projects. Amanda brings a <br /> graphic design-based perspective that allows for creative design ideas to <br /> be fully articulated, thus making sure that the public can grasp and <br /> appreciate the nuances of a design outcome. The project focused on assessing the current facilities and needs <br /> within the city and updating the 2001 comprehensive parks, open space, and trail system <br /> plan for the city. A significant portion of the planning process was focused on expanding <br /> upon and enhancing the network of trails for public use. <br /> Bemidji Parks, Open Space, and Trail System Plan Update - Bemidji, MN <br /> In the spring of 2011, the City of Bemidji retained Brauer Et Associates, Ltd. (now part of WSB) to work with <br /> the Parks and Recreation Commission, City Council, and City staff to complete a comprehensive parks, open <br /> space, and trail system plan update. The extensive public process and open communication with citizens was <br /> instrumental in shaping a strong and common vision for parks, open spaces, and trails that will serve the <br /> needs of Bemidji and the larger region.
