Amanda Prosser, RLA Landscape Architect Amanda has won numerous national and local awards for her projects k . while at North Dakota State University and has specialized in park and recreation-related projects for more than eight years. She has been project manager for a number of regional, community, and neighborhood park and trail master plans, including facilitating the public meetings and presentations that go along with these types of projects. Amanda brings a graphic design-based perspective that allows for creative design ideas to be fully articulated, thus making sure that the public can grasp and appreciate the nuances of a design outcome. Her most recent planning Education: works include system plan updates for the cities of Coon Rapids and Bachelor of Landscape Bemidji. Given the growing importance of active and healthy living, Architecture, North Dakota State Amanda served as board member for the MN Bicycle Alliance, a nonprofit University, 2005 organization whose mission is to provide leadership and a unified voice for bicycle education, advocacy, and efforts to make Minnesota more Bachelor of Science in bicycle friendly. The project focused on assessing the current facilities and needs within the city and updating the 2001 comprehensive parks, open space, and trail system plan for the city. A significant portion of the planning process was focused on expanding upon and enhancing the network of trails for public use. Bemidji Parks, Open Space, and Trail System Plan Update - Bemidji, MN In the spring of 2011, the City of Bemidji retained Brauer Et Associates, Ltd. (now part of WSB) to work with the Parks and Recreation Commission, City Council, and City staff to complete a comprehensive parks, open space, and trail system plan update. The extensive public process and open communication with citizens was instrumental in shaping a strong and common vision for parks, open spaces, and trails that will serve the needs of Bemidji and the larger region.
