Jason Wedel, PE Municipal Senior Project Manager Jason is a Senior Project Engineer in our Municipal Group. He has proven managerial expertise related to municipal engineering and land development. Jason has a verifiable track record for the successful completion of multi-million dollar projects through contract negotiation, developing partnerships, and building positive rapport with architects, engineers, and state and local officials, while maintaining costs. He is versed in public speaking, administration, financial analysis, project estimating, resolving complicated entitlement and design problems, document preparation and site management. Education: GENERAL EXPERIENCE Bachelor of Science, Civil Engineering, University of City Engineering and Public Works Minnesota, 1995 Jason is currently the City Engineer for the cities of Lino Lakes, Prior Lake and Long Lake. He is also a project engineer for the cities of Elk Registrations: River, Woodbury, and Minnetonka. Previously, Jason served as the Public Minnesota#26768 Works Director/City Engineer for the City of Savage. During his tenure at the City of Savage, he provided direction and supervision to the Memberships: Engineering, Street, Utilities, and Parks Departments (total of 45 American Public Works employees). Association City Engineers Association of Minnesota Land Development Jason has experience working for a national home building company performing land acquisition and development. This provides him a unique perspective and understanding of how to work with developers in constructing projects that work well for both the City and the developer. Jason's experience also provided opportunities to work on projects located within 17 cities and observe how these various cities work with developers. This information provides tremendous insight on what types of things cities can do to ensure the desired end result is achieved. SELECTED EXPERIENCE Bailey Lake Trunk Sanitary Sewer, Woodbury, MN Jason coordinated the study, design and construction of more than two miles of trunk sanitary sewer. The City of Woodbury decided to open up their Phase II area of the City for new development, which includes hundreds of acres of land that had been previously used for agricultural purposes.
