Jason Wedel, PE <br /> Municipal Senior Project Manager <br /> Jason is a Senior Project Engineer in our Municipal Group. He has proven <br /> managerial expertise related to municipal engineering and land <br /> development. Jason has a verifiable track record for the successful <br /> completion of multi-million dollar projects through contract negotiation, <br /> developing partnerships, and building positive rapport with architects, <br /> engineers, and state and local officials, while maintaining costs. He is <br /> versed in public speaking, administration, financial analysis, project <br /> estimating, resolving complicated entitlement and design problems, <br /> document preparation and site management. <br /> Education: <br /> GENERAL EXPERIENCE Bachelor of Science, Civil <br /> Engineering, University of <br /> City Engineering and Public Works <br /> Minnesota, 1995 <br /> Jason is currently the City Engineer for the cities of Lino Lakes, Prior <br /> Lake and Long Lake. Previously, Jason served as the Public Minnesota#26768 <br /> Works Director/City Engineer for the City of Savage. During his tenure at <br /> the City of Savage, he provided direction and supervision to the Memberships: <br /> Engineering, Street, Utilities, and Parks Departments (total of 45 American Public Works <br /> employees). Association <br /> City Engineers Association of <br /> Minnesota <br /> Land Development <br /> Jason has experience working for a national home building company <br /> performing land acquisition and development. This provides him a unique <br /> perspective and understanding of how to work with developers in <br /> constructing projects that work well for both the City and the developer. <br /> Jason's experience also provided opportunities to work on projects <br /> located within 17 cities and observe how these various cities work with <br /> developers. This information provides tremendous insight on what types <br /> of things cities can do to ensure the desired end result is achieved. <br /> SELECTED EXPERIENCE <br /> Bailey Lake Trunk Sanitary Sewer, Woodbury, MN <br /> Jason coordinated the study, design and construction of more than two miles of trunk <br /> sanitary sewer. The City of Woodbury decided to open up their Phase II area of the City for <br /> new development, which includes hundreds of acres of land that had been previously used <br /> for agricultural purposes.
