A WSBa proposal to provide professional services for the Elk River comprehensive plan update .. ,.. Key Team Members Kelsey Johnson, AICP - Project Manager Role: Project Manager for the Comprehensive Plan Update. Kelsey is a Community Planner and Land Use Specialist at WSB. She will be responsible for all aspects of the project including, but not limited to, serving as the primary contact with the City, attending all meetings, writing the Comprehensive Plan, and coordinating with the WSB team. High-quality project delivery and respectful communication with staff, city council, commissions and community stakeholders will develop the trust necessary for an effective planning relationship. Kelsey has served as a staff planner in the City of Ankeny, Iowa, and currently serves as WSB's consulting planner to the cities of Mahtomedi, St. Anthony Village, Tonka Bay, and St. Augusta, as well as Denmark Township. Having experience as both a practicing staff planner and a consulting staff planner allows her to ensure planning decisions can be practically applied, which is eminently important with a critical guiding document such as a comprehensive plan. Kelsey has also served as project manager and lead planner on several comprehensive plan updates, zoning ordinance updates, and small area studies, including those for Cloquet, Mahtomedi, Grey Cloud Island Township, Woodbury, and North St. Paul. She has facilitated numerous workshops, open houses. and public input meetings. And Moffatt, PWS— Deputy Project Manager/Natural Resources Role: Andi will serve as the Deputy Project Manager for the Comprehensive Plan Update, as well as the Project Lead on the Natural Resources Inventory and Analysis. She will coordinate with Kelsey to ensure r project deadlines are met and budgets are adhered to, and will attend applicable meetings with City staff and the Citizens Advisory Committee. Andrea is the head of WSB's Environmental and Natural Resource Group and has 17 years of experience in project management in planning and environmental projects. Her experience includes environmental assessment, comprehensive plans, wetland delineations and assessment, natural resource management plans, and permitting. She has successfully managed large projects that bring the expertise of many staff together to accomplish a common goal for her clients. She is also committed to delivering outstanding customer service to her clients on a daily basis. Clients have routinely stated they enjoy working with Andrea for her ability to get a job done, keep them informed, and exceed their expectations.
