a. Some overstory trees should be provided in the area between the parking lot and <br />Zane Street. <br />Response: The requested trees have been added between the parking lot area <br />and Zane Street. A note has been added alerting the contractor to the <br />presence of underground utilities in the area, requiring extra care when <br />planting trees. <br />b. Should the building be enlarged, the evergreen trees on the north side of the building <br />will need to be removed and replaced. <br />Response: Five of the seven proposed evergreen trees have been removed <br />c. Please also note that the Ordinance does provide opportunity to add a prairie grass <br />component to the landscaping, reducing the number of trees. <br />Response: Acknowledged. <br />Signs: <br />5. One monument sign, up to 10 feet high and 100 sq. ft. in size is permitted. The sign <br />must contain a minimum setback of 10 feet. The sign suggested for the SE corner <br />appears to be a 9 foot setback. <br />Response: The sign has been revised to a monument sign and the setback <br />shifted 1 foot to comply with the required 10 feet. <br />a. The base must be of brick and may include decorative brick or glazed block as <br />accents <br />Response:''The Signage Plan has been revised. <br />6. Two wall signs may be installed, in size up to 7% of the wall they are displayed on. <br />Signs shall be individual letters. <br />Response: Acknowledged. Refer to the Signage Plan. <br />Miscellaneous: <br />7. Please provide a photometric plan that illustrates that the average light level does not fall <br />below 3 footcandles (fc). <br />Response: A Photometric Plan meeting the required light levels has been added <br />to the Plans, as requested. <br />8. The site, being over an acre of disturbed area, will require an NPDES permit. Please <br />contact Environmental Administrator Rebecca Haug for this permit.
