Historically, the existing storm sewer facilities throughout the majority of the 2013 Street Improvement Project area have proven adequate for drainage. No storm sewer currently exists along the following roadways: 202nd Avenue NW, 185th Avenue NW, Business Center Drive, Gary Street, 4th Street, Railroad Drive, and 3rd Street NW. Roadways utilize existing ditch systems to convey storm water. Water ponding issues have not been identified by the City. 2.3.3 Water Main The majority of the existing water main located within the 2013 Street Improvement Project area is in good condition and functions adequately with no water main breaks or freeze-ups identified by Elk River Municipal Utilities. 2.3.4 Sanitary Sewer The majority of the existing sanitary sewer located within the project area is in good conditions and does not warrant replacement.
