2. Identify parcels that can be assembled in order to create a <br />significantly sized area for redevelopment as indicated on <br />the Plan. Seek to acquire these parcels when they become <br />available to facilitate redevelopment efforts. <br />3. Create an identifiable landscape corridor along Main <br />Street /4' Street to enhance traffic patterns and <br />connection to Highway 169. <br />4. Maintain the existing Jackson Avenue & 4`" Street water <br />tower as both a historical structure and as an identifiable <br />asset and landmark for future redevelopment efforts. <br />5. Encourage, through design and zoning standards, multi- <br />story office buildings for the Main Street and e Street <br />area that can maximize the view sheds to the Mississippi <br />River. <br />6. Review and modify existing land use regulations to <br />prevent incompatible land use changes that may <br />negatively impact the redevelopment potential of the area, <br />including restrictions on single- family home conversions <br />to businesses. <br />7.
