Hi Perry this is Paul Erickson.

Thank you for the nice words on your phone message.

My advice to you is to stay close to your elected Representatives for new projects, it
takes a while to get in line for projects to get from planning money to full funding.

I spoke with Senator Ourada yesterday, he was on one of the committees and he said
that he was going to try and right time to ask for planning money but he said it is
difficult because it is a first year project.

In the house, I suggest, (I do not know who the house members are) I have only spoken
to Sen. Ourada, but typically the party that is in control of the house, if you can find a
person aligned with that party to talk to some of the key people there is where you will
have better luck. In lieu of that, have whatever Representative is in the house talk to
the Capital Bonding Chair to see if they can do a little planning money. I think that is
the best kind of prudent strategy to get your marker for the future. And there is only two
committees to concentrate on now, Senator Cohen's in the senate and Representative
Henry Kalis in the house because that is where everything is, at this point.

For your last question, sometimes we do an odd year bonding, called the "off-year" in
1999, but it is more probable that the next bonding opportunity will be in the year 2000.
But don't be discouraged because I've known some projects that have taken 6-8 years
but they got it done, you just have to be persistent.

I will be living at the capital for the next couple of weeks, but leave me a message and I
will try and return it as soon as possible. Good Luck, this is a good project. Hopefully
we can work with you to make it happen.
