HIPSAG ELECTRIC IN THE AMOUNT OF $16,650 TO INSTALL <br />SIX LIGHT FIXTURES <br />3. MOST DEPENDABLE FOUNTAIN IN THE AMOUNT OF <br />$3,200 FOR A DRINKING FOUNTAIN. <br />4.6 TRANSIENT MERCHANT LICENSE TO CAROLINE FISHER TO <br />SELL FLOWERS ON HOLIDAY WEEKENDS FROM THE PARKING <br />LOT OF CHARLIE BROWN'S SHELL STATION, 335 LOWELL <br />AVENUE, VALID UNTIL DECEMBER 31, 2012, SUBJECT TO THE <br />FOLLOWING CONDITIONS: <br />1. ONE 24 SQUARE FOOT SIGN SHALL BE ALLOWED. A <br />TEMPORARY SIGN PERMIT MUST BE OBTAINED PRIOR TO <br />DISPLAY OF THE SIGN. CONTACT THE PLANNING <br />DEPARTMENT AT 763.635.1000. <br />2. THE MERCHANDISE DISPLAYED SHALL NOT OCCUPY <br />MORE THAN 100 SQUARE FEET [SECTION 38 -414 (6)]. <br />3. Open Forum <br />Charlie Bebus, National Guard — asked the City Council and the community to join the <br />Minnesota National Guard in their support of the Boys and Girls Clubs of 10,000 Lakes for <br />their annual golf tournament on Wednesday, May 23, 2012. He stated that anyone interested <br />should contact the Boys and Girls Club for information on participating in the tournament <br />or in donating money or silent auction items. Mr. Bebus stated that the tournament is to <br />help with funding for the Club to remain open all summer. <br />6.1. Volunteer of the Month (for April) <br />Mayor Dietz presented the Volunteer of the Month for April 2012 to John Weicht. He <br />provided John's service background as follows: <br />• Volunteer at Business Expo and Fourth of July celebration for many years. <br />• Served on the board of Elk River Lions Club, including a term as President. <br />Hosted four Lions Youth Exchange students. <br />Worked at graduation parties, local festivals, and parades. • <br />Served as youth sports coach. <br />
