Leave Benefits <br />Vacation <br />Paid vacation leave is provided for regular, full-time employees and on a prorated basis for <br />eligible part-time employees. <br />Eligible part-time employees hired before January 1, 2004, include employees working a <br />minimum of 1,040 hours per year. Eligible part-time employees hired on or after January <br />1, 2004, include regularly scheduled part-time employees who work a set, consistent <br />schedule and who work a minimum of forty (40) hours per biweekly pay period. <br />Temporary and seasonal employees are not eligible for vacation benefits. <br />Vacation leave is accrued based on consecutive years of leave eligible service. Employees <br />accrue vacation leave at the following rates: <br />Length of Service Accrual Rate <br />From start of employment through <br />completion of the St year 88 working hours per year <br />Beginning of the 6t" year through <br />completion of the 7t" year 112 working hours per year <br />Beginning of the 8t" year through <br />completion of the 9t" year 120 working hours per year <br />Beginning of the l Ot" year through <br />completion of the 11 t" year 128 working hours per year <br />Beginning of the 12t" year through <br />completion of the 13t" year 136 working hours per year <br />Beginning of the 15t" year through <br />completion of the 15t" year 144 working hours per year <br />Beginning of the 16t" year through <br />completion of the 17t" year 152 working hours per year <br />Beginning of the 18t" year 160 working hours per year <br />Beginning of the 19t" year 168 working hours per year <br />Beginning of the 20t" year 176 working hours per year <br />Beginning of the 21St year 184 working hours per year <br />
