"'t <br />Mt:~i)i~~C~~ ~,'F~TFRANS MEMCRiAL 'ARK <br />MOUND, MINNESOTA <br />The Mound Veterans Memorial Park is an important public focal point of the downtown located prominently along County Road ~5. <br />This park is a pivotal point between amulti-modal transit hub (park and ride ramp, bus hub, future light rail line (exists now as regional <br />trail) and the Mound Greenway. The plan incorporates features desired by Veterans community, flags, granite memorial, benches, <br />circular paver walking path, lush plantings and shade trees. A construction company volunteered the installation. <br />
