Green Company Residents present: See attached sign-up sheet On August 28, 1997, an informal public informational meeting was held at the Elk River City Hall to discuss the above-referenced project. The purpose of this meeting was to provide information to the public with regards to the proposed improvements at the intersection of Upland Avenue and TH 10. Terry Maurer introduced the project and discussed the following items: The project is a Mn/DOT programmed project with funds being programmed in FY '98 (July 1, 1997 - June 30, 1998). The City of Elk River has agreed to take the lead on this project due to manpower shortage at Mn/DOT. The City of Elk River will be completing the design of the project based on Mn/DOT direction. The project design will be reviewed and approved by Mn/DOT. The project is at the preliminary design stage with the following actions required: Complete Geometric Layout and submit to Mn/DOT for review and approval. The geometric layout provides the basis for designing the project. Complete Project Memorandum and submit to Mn/DOT for review and approval.
