Serves as working <br />foreman on projects, directs and coordinates park maintenance and development projects and <br />programs. Participates in park design and development. <br /> <br />Essential Functions <br />1. Perform administrative activities. <br /> A. DeveloI5 and recommend goals, policies, programs, procedures. <br /> <br />D. <br />E. <br />F. <br /> <br />Assist in selection of vendors and contractors; manage and maintain relationships <br />with vendors and contractors. <br />Complete various required reports and maintain records. <br />Assist in employee selection process. <br />Assist in park department budget preparation. <br />Monitor park expenditures. <br /> <br />Supervise maintenance activities. <br />A. Supervise and assist in the installation, construction, and maintenance of beaches, <br /> <br />Bo <br /> <br />grounds, recreational and athletic facilities, and other park facilities and equipment. <br />Supervise landscape/grounds care. <br />Prepare and recommend design, specifications, and alternatives. <br />Review plans submitted by others; inspect and approve landscape construction. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />Administer park reservations. <br />A. Assist in development of park reservation policies and procedures. <br />B. Work with administration staff on park reservations and related issues. <br />C. Schedule park rangers to ensure reservations are honored and shelters are clean. <br /> <br />Perform public relations and communications activities. <br />A.
