7. Marketing Plan -Pizza Ranch trains & utilizes its management team and employees to create <br />"community" in our restaurant locations. Specifically our managers will focus on these key <br />elements of success as the basis of the Pizza Ranch marketing strategy: <br />Community Involvement -The Pizza Ranch has built a reputation on being involved in <br />the local community. <br />Personality -Personal manners of management and employees are important. <br />Management and employees are expected to be polite, wave, and carry themselves in a <br />respectable manner when out in the community. As management, we recognize that <br />every step out of our door is an opportunity to make friends with a potential customer. <br />Employee Satisfaction -Educating our staff through the use of the standards manual is <br />important. Employees enjoying their job and being appreciated by the owner or manager <br />create a positive perception in the community. <br />Out of Store Involvement -Management getting involved in chamber events, local <br />clubs, fundraisers, school athletic boosters, and a local church are keys to a positive <br />public perception. We also need to know the community leaders and meet, greet, and <br />appreciate their business. <br />8. Operations Excellence -Our focus should never be, "that's good enough" or "I'm busy <br />enough." Our tool for success is "continuous improvement." What did we do right, what <br />mistakes did we make, and what changes are we going to make to resolve it?" <br />Financial Stability -Pizza Ranch, Inc. provides financial services through PR Financial, a <br />wholly owned subsidiary of Pizza Ranch, Inc. Management and ownership will gain an <br />understanding of nightly bookwork, cash long and short, cash paid out, accounts receivable, <br />billing, labor statistics, and food and labor costs; and how they are important in evaluating the <br />business and in assessing the problems or opportunities for growth. <br />
