RFP Outline, Natural Resources Inventory <br />November 25, 2003 <br />Page 3 <br />3. Project Approach <br />4. Project Team <br />Include team members and their related role on the project. Highlight similar experience on <br />relevant studies for all personnel. <br />5. Work Program and Cost of Service <br />a. Provide a detailed Work Program that accomplishes the tasks and objectives of the <br />project. Include a spreadsheet showing phases, tasks, meetings, personnel, hours by task, <br />and hourly rates. <br />b. Clearly state the deliverables for each phase of the project. <br />c. Alternative Tasks -Please provide any additional recommended tasks that are outside of <br />the defined scope of the RFP. Provide independent pricing information for each additional <br />task to enable the Ciry to decide whether those additional tasks should be undertaken. <br />d. The consultant will be responsible for facilitating meetings with the public and park <br />commission and for taking and distributing minutes for all meetings throughout the planning <br />effort. <br />6. Project Schedule <br />The park commission will be the advisory board for the NRI project, and it would be <br />appropriate to develop a schedule and work program that utilizes the regularly scheduled <br />Park Commission meeting date as a forum for updates for this planning effort. The <br />commission meets on the 2nd Wednesday of every month. <br />7. Relevant Experience <br />Include graphic and text descriptions of projects that demonstrate your ability to accomplish <br />the tasks outlined in this RFP. Include dates of the work, and which team members <br />participated in the project. <br />8. References -Minimum of 3. <br />Include project description, your firms role in the project, date of service, overall consulting <br />cost, and contact information. <br />Evaluation Criteria <br />The proposals will be evaluated based on the following criteria: <br />Relevant Experience <br />Project Approach <br />Project Understanding <br />Cost of Service <br />Clarity of Proposal <br />The 4 sentences below seem out of context, probably better off having it up near the top. <br />The native plant community inventory should include use of the Minnesota County Biological <br />Survey and be ranked using the Minnesota Land Cover Classification System. <br />The inventory should utilize infrared aerial photo/digital orthoquads and field-checking of data. <br />Staff should include persons trained in Minnesota natural resources. <br />
