The property is a triangular piece approximately 6,000 sq. ft. in <br />area. This property is adjacent to the subject site under consideration for <br />rezoning, preliminary plat and a conditional use permit to allow the <br />relocation of Morrell Transfer from their current location at the intersection <br />of Jackson and School Street. The sale of the property will allow Morrell's to <br />develop the area for parking purposes. <br /> <br />Right of Way <br /> <br />The City Engineer has suggested the need for an acceleration lane on the <br />south side of 171st. This lane would allow vehicles that need to stop at <br />railroad crossings a place to do so; it would also provide an acceleration lane <br />for trucks exiting the Morrell Transfer site.
