Sample: _Amendment to existing contract <br />I <br />THIS AGREEMENT is made , 199_, by and between the CITY OF ELK RIVER, a <br />Minnesota municipal corporation ("City") and a <br />("'Contractor"). <br />Recitals <br />A. In order to perform its obligations under the contract, Contractor requires access to the following <br />data: . Some or all of the requested data is classified as not <br />public under the Minnesota Government Data Practices Act, Minn. Stat. §§ 13.01 et sem. (the "Act") and is <br />subject to restrictive provisions regarding its release or disclosure. <br />C. The data requested by Contractor is reasonably necessary for the performance by Contractor of <br />its obligations under the contract. <br />D. Section 13.05 of the Act requires that, when a contract requires a governmental unit to make data <br />on individuals available to a contracting party, the contracting party must maintain the data according to the <br />provisions of the Act. <br />E. The City and Contractor desire to clarify the responsibilities of the parties with respect to <br />providing, maintaining, and disseminating data that is subject to the Act. <br />Agreement <br />In consideration of the mutual covenants made in this Agreement, the parties agree as follows: <br />1. City to Provide Data. The City agrees to provide to Contractor data, including data on individuals <br />(Requested Data) as requested by Contractor under this Agreement. <br />2. Contractor Responsibilities. Contractor shall have the following responsibilities: <br />a.
