Field Use Fields must be reserved for organized recreational usage. Fields will be scheduled for Priority One first. After all fields are allocated by commission, additional use, tournaments, and all other users must follow the Outdoor Facility Use Application process and fees. Groups must allow a minimum of 14 days for the processing of their request. Requests must be submitted in writing by the deadline as determined by the Parks and Recreation Department to ensure field availability. Applications will be processed on a first come first serve basis. Permits In order to receive exclusive use of any City athletic facility, any group or organization must follow the guidelines and policies established by the City's Parks and Recreation Department and receive an appropriate permit. Permits are issued only by the Elk River Parks and Recreation Department. Fees The City will set fees each season. This fee, any outstanding bills, and annual applications must be submitted to the Recreation Department before any scheduling needs will be considered for that season. This fee will cover the following basic services: • Coordination of scheduling and maintenance • Portable toilets at each site • General field set up for games, excluding items listed below These items are not included in seasonal fees and will be billed at actual cost unless otherwise noted: • Weekend use Friday-Sunday • Weekend City Staff • Maintaining a field more than once each day • Moving of bases • Extra portable toilets and/or cleanings • Use of concession building • Tournament and Tournament Supplies Field Maintenance Fields will be maintained in accordance with industry standards as outlined by priority user based on the schedule supplied. Any changes to the original schedule must be completed in writing at least 2 business days before the need or no maintenance will be provided and change request maybe denied. We are not responsible for any messages left on the voice mail system. No changes maybe made to City fields by anyone other than the City.
