Elk R/ver City CouncLl Minutes <br />April 7, 1997 <br /> <br />Page 6 <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER FARBER MOVED TO APPROVE THE PURCHASE OF A MICROFICHE <br />READER/PRINTER FROM MIDWEST MICROFILM 50 AT $2,150. COUNCILMEMBER <br />THOMPSON SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> <br />7. Staff Updates <br /> <br />City Administrator Pat Klaers informed the Council that the city received a <br />contribution of $2,000 from United Way for the purchase of the defibrillators. <br /> <br />School Board Meetinqs - City Administrator Pat Klaers informed the Council that <br />the School Board meetings would be held at the City Hall in the Council <br />Chambers on the second Tuesday of the month and aired over Cable TV. <br /> <br />Orono Appeals - The City Administrator informed the Council that no Orono Lake <br />3rd Addition appeals were received. <br /> <br />8. Adjournment <br /> <br />There being no further business, COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN MOVED TO <br />ADJOURN THE MEETING. COUNCILMEMBER FARBER SECONDED THE MOTION.
