COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN <br />SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN MOVED TO ADOPT RESOLUTION 97-29, A RESOLUTION <br />ESTABLISHING MUNICIPAL STATE AID STREETS. COUNCILMEMBER FARBER SECONDED <br />THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> <br />4.10. Consider Ice Arena Commission Request to Conduct a Name The Arena Contest <br /> <br />City Administrator Pat Klaers indicated that the Ice Arena Commission has <br />requested the Council to authorize a "Name the Arena" contest. He indicated <br />that the Commission is requesting that names be given for the new arena <br />complex, the old rink, and the new rink. The Commission will be offering three <br />cash prizes of $25 each for the individuals submitting the winning names. The <br />deadline for the contest is August 1, 1997. <br /> <br />COUNClLMEMBER FARBER MOVED TO AUTHORIZE A NAME THE ICE ARENA CONTEST. <br />COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> <br />4.11. Mobile Home Trailer Park Ordinance Update <br /> <br />City Administrator Pat Klaers stated that a public hearing will be held on April 21, <br />1997, to consider a revised manufactured home park closing ordinance. He <br />stated that there is a concern regarding the recently adopted ordinance <br />regarding the choice for the mobile homeowners to either receive payment for <br />their home in exchange for the title or to receive relocation expenses. Pat Klaers <br />stated that it was the intent of the city, and will be the intent of the revised <br />ordinance, to make it clear that each individual mobile home owner has the <br />choice to either receive payment for their home in exchange for the title or to <br />receive relocation expenses. <br /> <br />The City Administrator advised the Council that the appraisal firm selected by the <br />city, Credit Management Resource Corporation, has been hired by the <br />developer for the project. <br /> <br />5. Open Mike <br /> <br />Mike Twaddle, 18994 Zane Street, reintroduced himself as lhe parent of the child <br />who was recently killed on Highway 169. He stated that his initial concern is to <br />address Highway 169 safety issues and indicated that he would like to remind the <br />Council of the work that still has to be done on Highway 169. He thanked the <br />Council for their support and requested the Council to continue working on the <br />safety issues. <br /> <br /> <br />
