Elk River City Council Meeting <br />January 27, 1997 <br /> <br />Page 6 <br /> <br />The City Administrator updated the County Board on the status of the Business <br />Incubator locating within the City of Elk River. <br /> <br />Government Center Drive - The City Administrator updated the County Board on <br />the status of Government Center Drive. Dave Loch indicated concerns the <br />county had regarding drainage south of the county building. <br /> <br />Lake Orono - Steve Rohlf indicated that the MPCA has recently completed a <br />study on Lake Orono and the study has indicated that the water quality is very <br />poor. Mayor Duitsman indicated that the water quality of Lake Orono will <br />probably not be able to be corrected until the water shed district is corrected. <br />Steve Rohlf encouraged the County Board to think about assisting the city in its <br />efforts to correct this matter. <br /> <br />Youth Buildinq - Commissioner Engstrom indicated that the County Fair Board has <br />indicated that it has a building available that could be used for youth programs. <br />He indicated that the only problem with the building is that it is not winterized and <br />does not have restroom facilities in the winter. <br /> <br />No further issues were discussed between the county and the city at this time. <br /> <br />12. Adjournment <br /> <br />There being no further business, COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN MOVED TO <br />ADJOURN THE MEETING.
