Map Illustrating Parcels to be Zoned Rlc and RId

Analysis

In April 2000 as part of the discussion of the recodification process, the Planning Commission
discussed the various single family zoning districts and whether or not one or two of them could
be combined. As a result of that discussion, during the recodification process, the RIe district
standards were removed from the Zoning Code. As a result, a map amendment rezoning those
areas zoned Rle Single Family needs to be approved to provide consistency between the zoning
map and code.

The Rle district standards were changed to reduce the minimum lot size from 20,000 square feet
to 11,000 square feet. As a result, this created another single family zoning district similar to the
RIb and the RIc districts.
