Please answer the questions below to assist reviewers in determining whether your proposal's project schedule is realistic and achievable. QUESTIONS TO BE ADDRESSED: 1. Are project segments or phases prioritized? ®Yes ^ No If so, please indicate priority and schedule for each phase. Trail improvements within this corridor have already begun within the County, but have only been prioritized with respect to approval and development timelines. The portions between Zimmerman and Princeton have already begun design and construction operations. The City of Elk River has completed improvements for the portion of the trail corridor from the Core City to CSAH 33 including the construction of an underpass. The portion proposed with this application is slated to be constructed next followed by the section between Elk River and Zimmerman. 2. When will the project manager be selected? (month and year) The City of Elk River will serve as the project manager 3. What environmental document path will the project most likely follow, i.e., Project Memorandum, Project Path Report, Environmental Assessment, etc.? The project will most likely use an Environmental Assessment, and if not necessary, a Project Path Report. When will the environmental document be completed? The environmental document will be completed by officially approved the use of local funding 5. When will plans be prepared? (month and year) The plan preparation will begin in June of 2010. (month and year) Construction bids will be advertised as soon as feasible, likely in March of 2011. 7. When will bids be opened? (month and year) Bids will be opened May of 2011. When will construction begin? (month and year) Construction will begin as early as June 2011, but no later than August 2011 When will construction be completed? (month and year) Construction will be completed by December 2011.
