MEETING OF ELK RIVER PUBLIC LIBRARY BOARD <br />HELD AT ELK RIVER LIBRARY <br />TUESDAY, MAY 25, 2010 <br />Board Members Present: John Dietz, Jayne Dietz, Aaron Ziegler, Mike Hangaard <br />Board Members Absent: Karen Stelk <br />Others Present: Mick Stoffers, Branch Manager; Brandi Carter, GRRL Regional <br />Supervisor; Nick Zerwas, Elk River City Council Liaison <br />1. Call Meetine to Order <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River Public Library Board <br />was called to order at 6:30 p.m. by Board Chair John Dietz. <br />2. Consider Mav 25, 2010 Librarv Board Agenda. <br />AARON ZIEGLER MOTIONED AND MIKE HANGAARD SECONDED TO <br />APPROVE THE AGENDA AS PRESENTED. MOTION PASSED 4-0. <br />3. Consider Minutes of Anri127, 2010 Library Board Meeting. <br />JAYNE DIETZ MOVED TO APPROVE THE MINUTES OF THE APRIL 27, 2010 <br />LIBRARY BOARD MEETING. MIKE HANGAARD SECONDED THE MOTION. <br />THE MOTION PASSED 4-0. <br />4. Consider Mav 25, 2010 Treasurer's Report. <br />Aaron Ziegler questioned why Interest Income was listed as a negative amount For the <br />current period on the treasurer's report. He also questioned why the contributions year to <br />date were only 20% of the projected yearly total. He wondered if the contributions are <br />going to come in under budget. Mick said she would ask Tim Simon for answers to these <br />questions. <br />AARON ZIEGLER MOTIONED TO APPROVE THE MAY 25, 2010 <br />TREASURER'S REPORT. MIKE HANGAARD SECONDED THE MOTION. <br />THE MOTION PASSED 4-0. <br />5. Librarian's Report -Mick Stoffers <br />A. Two trees have been replaced at a cost of $350. A few other trees may need <br />replacing but nothing will be done with those until next spring. <br />
