• <br />concePC eva~uac~on <br />~Continuin the evolution from the Phase One study, the Phase Two concept evaluation <br />g <br />began with an exercise in determining the final stage of the infrastructure and <br />transportation network for the study area. This focused the planning horizon and <br />assisted in creating an approach for near-term, interim and long-term land use <br />and transportation solutions for the study are to be further refined. Four concept <br />alternatives were then explored for the ~7~st Avenue FAST, each with a different <br />focus for land use, particularly from the rail line west to the river. Uses ranging from <br />housing to industrial and business park uses along with commercial and retail uses <br />were evaluated in conjunction with alternatives for the future interchange location <br />and consequent local roadway network. Lastly, detailed options for an interim second <br />signalized intersection and future interchange location were created to better assess <br />the impacts to private property, natural features and broad cost comparisons. <br /> <br />i <br /> <br /> <br />r <br />~~ <br />~ __ <br /> <br />• <br />
