Ach, City Planner_~~ <br /> <br />April 11, 1996 <br /> <br />Comprehensive Plan <br /> <br />Attached is the Comprehensive Plan as adopted by the Council on December <br />18, 1995. At this time, the plan does not include a transportation or parks <br />and open space element. The Council is currently in the process of reviewing <br />the transportation and master park and recreation plan. Upon the Council's <br />adoption of these plans, the respective elements will be incorporated into the <br />Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />The Comprehensive Plan is by a no means a document cast in concrete; <br />therefore, it has been placed in a 3-ring binder to easily accept adjustments <br />as deemed fit by the City Council. With the understanding the <br />Comprehensive Plan can be amended should not dilute its intent as a <br />framework to guide development and growth of the community. <br /> <br />If the City Council has any comments or questions regarding the <br />Comprehensive Plan, please feel free to contact me or I will be happy to <br />answer your questions at the meeting Thursday night. <br /> <br /> s:\councfl\compr ehe.doc <br />13065 Orono Parkway · P.O.
