The end of that four year period will be October 1, 1996. This <br />leaves only one construction season left for the hookup to the City utility. If you have not <br />made arrangements to have your property connected to the sanitary sewer system, please <br />make arrangements to have this accomplished before October 1, 1996. Any questions <br />regarding the hookup can be answered by City Hall staff. <br /> <br />At the time of the improvements in your area, there was no requirement to hook up to the <br />water system. However, it is highly recommended that you consider connecting both <br />sanitary sewer and water at the same time. In fact, the Municipal Utilities have since had <br />an ordinance put in place making it mandatory to connect to the water system in the same <br />time frame as the sewer system.
