The project was very successful with 700 riders <br />including 70 legislators. The request for funding for the Northstar Corridor is moving <br />through the various legislative committees. The federal funding is contingent on the state <br />approving its share ($120 million). If the state does not approve the entire $120 million, the <br />federal funding of $147 million will likely go to another project.
