<br />RESOLUTION 07-04 <br />MAINTENANCE AGREEMENt= 2007 <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT made and entered into by and between the City of Elk River hereinafter referred to <br />as the "City" and the County of Wright hereinafter referred to as the "County". <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is deemed to the best interest of all parties that the duties and responsibilities of both the <br />City and the County as to maintenance on Bridge #86515 and its approaches should be clearly defined. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, IT IS AGREED with regard to said structure maintenance: <br /> <br />MAINTENANCE <br /> <br /> <br />i <br /> <br />CITY RESPONSIBLE FOR: <br />(1) Maintenance of street lights;. <br />(2) Removal of snow from sidewalk; k)\ l \ <br />(3) Maintenance of slopes/berms and roadway on north approach (includes: turf maintenance, <br />bituminous maintenance, drainage and riprap maintenance); <br />(4) Snow and ice control from bridge and approaches; <br />(5) Removal of markings/spray paint etc. from visible surfaces of bridge structure. <br /> <br />COUNTY RESPONSIBLE FOR: <br />(1) Periodic sweeping to remove sand and debris and removing sand/dirt from expansion joints; <br />(2) Signing for bridge and approaches; <br />(3) Maintenance of slopes/berms and roadway on south approach (includes: turf maintenance, <br />bituminous maintenance, drainage and riprap maintenance); <br />(4) Centerline and edge pavement marking (includes stop bar). <br /> <br />The agreement between the City and County shall be for a one-year period and run from January 1, <br />2007, to December 31,2007.
